Conditions for the adjustment:

l  The selector lever cable should be dismounted from the selector rod.
l  The selector lever should be in position “N”.
l  The bolts securing the multifunction switch -F125- should be removed.
l  The selector rod should be removed.
   
–  Fit the adjustment tool on the selector shaft -2- and turn the multifunction switch -1- until the adjustment tool fits in the switch connector tab.
–  Secure the adjustment tool onto the selector rod -2- with bolt -3-.
–  Tighten the bolts -arrows- to a torque of 6 Nm.
–  Remove the adjustment tool.
–  The other installation operations are carried out in reverse order to the removal → Chapter
  N38-10000
