Removing
–  Raise the vehicle
–  Remove front left-hand wheel.

–  Remove bolts -1 ... 3- and remove central noise insulation.
–  Remove left noise insulation → Rep. Gr.66

–  Remove the circlip -A- for the sealing cover of the input shaft.
  N34-11100
–  Punch a hole through the middle of the rubber of the cover of the input shaft using a screwdriver.
–  Remove the rubber seal cover from the input drive using the extractor kit -T20140-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

Always replace the sealing cover and, when applicable, the circlip fitted.

–  Insert the sealing cover using the pressure tool -T10143- as far as possible in the gearbox housing.

–  Secure the sealing cover with the new circlip -A-.
–  Check hydraulic oil level and top-up if necessary → Chapter.
