Pulling outer race for tapered roller bearing out of gearbox housing
A  - Counter-support, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B  - Internal remover 46... 58 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/7-

Fitting the outer ring of the roller bearing into the gearbox casing
–  Support the gearbox casing by fitting the tube -3259- directly underneath the bearing allotment.

Pulling off tapered roller bearing inner races
  Note
Both tapered roller bearing inner races are pulled off the differential cage in the same way.

Pressing on tapered roller bearing inner races
–  Support inner ring underneath on the assembly sleeve -VW 455-.
The heel of the assembly sleeve -VW 455- faces the differential casing.
  Note
The inner rings of both conical roller bearings are fitted in the same manner in the differential housing.

Release the outer ring of the conical roller bearing bush -A- from the clutch casing
B  - Internal remover 46... 58 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/7-
–  For this, fasten the interior extractor behind the outer ring of the conical roller bearing.

Pressing out differential pinion pin
When detaching this, the fastening sleeve must be cut.
–  Drive remainder of spring pin out of differential cage.

Install differential bevel gears.
–  Lubricate one piece thrust washer with gear oil and install.
–  Install both sun wheels and secure (e.g. with flange shaft).
–  Insert planet pinions offset 180° and pivot into position.
–  Press in differential pinion pin -arrow A- to first planet pinion.
–  Place threaded pieces -arrows B- in sun gears.
–  Insert the planet gear shaft to the final position and secure it with the securing sleeve.
