Removing and installing propshaft > < Removing and installing viscous coupling

Checking oil in front final drive
Checking oil in front final drive
Oil level is checked with gearbox installed.
Final drive and front bevel box are filled together through the oil filler hole in the final drive.
Checking:
   
–  Remove inspection plug -arrow- for gear oil and top up to lower edge of hole with gear oil.
Specification → Chapter
–  Install bolt.
Torque setting: 20 Nm
When filling with oil, note the following:
–  Remove inspection plug for gear oil and top up to lower edge of hole with gear oil.
Specification → Chapter
–  Start engine, engage gear and allow gearbox to turn for approx. 2 minutes.
–  Switch off engine and check oil level.
