Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Lifting tackle -2024 A-

t	Hook -10 - 222 A /2-

t	Eye bolt -3368-

t	Gearbox bracket -T10316-

t	Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-

–	If necessary, clean outside surface of gearbox.

–	Bolt gearbox bracket -T10316- to gearbox.

–	Set down gearbox, remove from hoist and turn torque converter housing upwards.

–	Screw eye bolts -3368- into torque converter housing.

–	Raise gearbox using lifting tackle -2024 A- and secure to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- or support clamp -VW 313-.

Never turn gearbox without care.

The torque converter could fall out.
