One washer above and one below bearing seat for deep groove ball bearing → Item.

Beneath bearing seat -arrow-:
   
From gearbox date 17 04 6 through gearbox date 13 01 8 slightly deeper.
In order for the washer beneath the deep groove ball bearing → Item to fit, the bearing seat for the deep groove ball bearing -arrow- is machined out slightly.

l  If the flats are present, no washer must be placed above or below the deep groove ball bearing.
