Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Extractor kit -T20143-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-2958
t  Pressure tool -T10298-, see equivalent → Anchor
–  Remove the pair of bevelled gears → Chapter
  W00-10307
–  Remove the seal with the extractor -T20143/1- or the extractor -T20143/2-
  N39-10186
–  Fill half way with sealant grease → parts catalogue the space between the sealant lip and the dust guard -arrow-
–  Lightly lubricate outer edge of new seal.
  N32-0001
–  Fit new seal as far as it will go using tappet -T10298-.
–  Remove the pair of bevelled gears → Chapter
–  Check the pair of bevelled gears oil level → Chapter
