Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
  L00-10226
t  Tray -T20173-, see equivalent → Anchor
Prior condition:
l  Vehicle must be horizontal
l  The bevelled gears must be fitted
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove centre noise insulation → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. Gr.50.
–  Fit tray -T20173- beneath pair of bevelled gears.
  W00-2455
–  Unscrew the oil filler bolt -arrow- from the bevelled gears. Always replace the bolt
The oil level will be correct if the bevelled gears are filled to the lower lip of the filler hole.
–  Add oil if necessary → Chapter
–  Place a new oil filler bolt -arrow- and tighten it → Anchor.
Tightening torque
