Removing and installing parking lock
Removing and installing parking lock
–  Remove selector lever cable from gearbox.
Information about selector lever cable:
→ Chapter „Selector lever and gear selection mechanism, vehicles up to 02.2009: Removing and installing“.
→ Chapter „Selector lever and gear selection mechanism with gear selector cable: removal and installation, from 03.2009“
–  Remove parking lock cover.
   
–  Remove 3 bolts with socket -3410-.
–  Always renew bolts.
Tightening torque
20 Nm, 90° turn further
–  Remove parking lock.
