Replacement ATF pump parts and the ATF pump are allocated according to gearbox code.

  • Piston ring
    • ◆ Check that it is correctly located

    • ◆ Fitting => Fig. 2
  • Piston ring
    • ◆ Check that it is correctly located

  • Piston ring
    • ◆ Check that it is correctly located

  • Thrust washer

  • Piston
    • ◆ Sealing lips are vulcanised to the piston
    • ◆ Moisten sealing lips with ATF before inserting
    • ◆ Turn piston slightly when installing
  • Bolt, 10 Nm
    • ◆ Then turn 45° further
  • Stator support
  • Outer gear
    • ◆ Manufacturer's marking (arrow) faces stator support
    • ◆ If outer gear is incorrectly installed, the ATF pump may not operate freely in the installed position
  • Inner gear
    • ◆ Larger groove faces stator support

  • ‒ Ensure that the ends of the piston rings are hooked together.

  • ‒ Place piston ring in groove.
  • ‒ To hook ends together press sides of ring in and guide ends over one another.
  • ‒ Do not twist piston ring out of groove on one side.
