Slide box: removing and fitting

Replace the seal of the sealing screw.

–	Cut the seal -arrow- with a pair of cutting pliers, always replace the seal.

–	After the repairs, fit the plug by hand with a new o-ring and fill with ATF.

–	Fill with ATF, check ATF level and top up

Slide box identification

The code letters are stamped on the identification plate -arrow-. The identification plate should remain attached to the gearbox.

Removing and fitting solenoid -N93-

–	Remove bolt -1- and remove the valve cable.

–	Screw out bolts -arrows-.

–	Detach connector -2-.

–	Remove valve -N93-.

–	Replace the O-ring.

Install in reverse order.

Removal and assembly of support plate with solenoids -N88- to -N92-

–	Remove the solenoid -N93- → Anchor.

–	Remove bolts -A-, -B- and -C-.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:

–	Tighten bolts -A--B- and -C- to 8 Nm.

Removing and fitting the ATF strainer

–	Do not mix up bolts -A- and -B-; fit them in their original positions.

–	Tighten bolts -A- and -B- to 8 Nm.

–	Fit brackets -1- and -2- and plate -3- as described in the illustration.
