| The plastic covered fittings will show slight parallel grooves after the seat belts have been subject to load (accident with the seat belt fastened). (Wear as a result of frequent use can be distinguished as the marks are smooth and without lines). |

| Check for twisting, damage and scratches on the plastic. |

| If there is scoring and/or damage, replace the complete seat belt along with the buckle. |
