| Removal |
| – | Remove seat bench → Chapter. |
| – | Detach all padding clips -arrow- on the bottom of the seat bench. |
| – | Roll cover upwards all round. |
| – | Roll up cover further at the sides. |
| – | Remove all upholstery clips -5- of cover -1- from cushion mounts -4-. |
| – | Remove cover -1- from cushion -2- in -direction of arrow-. |
| Installation |
| – | Place cover -1- on padding-3-. |
| – | Fasten cover -1- to padding -3- all round it with new padding clips -2- at the positions indicated -3-, using the padding clip pliers -V.A.G 1634-. |
| – | Fold over cover -1- at the sides. |
| – | Fasten cover to underside of bench seat with new upholstery clips -arrow- all round at positions indicated -arrow- using upholstery clip pliers -V.A.G 1634-. |
| Further assembly is performed in reverse order of removal. |
