B-pillar trim, 5-door vehicles and ST: Loosening and tightening
B-pillar trim, 5-door vehicles and ST: Loosening and tightening
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Release lever -T20043-
  Note
The sequence of loosening and tightening is described for the right side of the vehicle. Performing the work for the left side are similar.
Releasing
–  Switch ignition OFF.
–  Push the front seat forward as far as it will go.

–  Using the lever -T20043-, separate the trim from the B-pillar -1- a little and remove from the B-pillar -arrow A-.
–  Pull the trim of the B-pillar -1- near to the roof outwards and then pull under the moulded roof in the direction of -arrow B-.
Securing
–  Secure in reverse order of releasing.
  Note
t  After installation, check that trim is behind beading of door seal.
t  Before fitting the lining check the condition of the clips and replace if necessary.
