Preparation for a new windscreen

The new windscreens are supplied from parts with the pre-cord or PUR lip. The pre-cord is made up of positions -1,--2- and -3-.

	1.	Hermetic lip
	2.	Spacing core
	3.	Application zone for sticking cord
	4.	Glass

–	Rub the pre-cord with a lint-free dry cloth.

Caution

The pre-cord should not be primed or treated with cleaning solution.

–	Apply a thin layer of activator (blue-topped bottle from repair kit -KR 004 30303-) with applicator -1- (felt ball with cable) to the pre-cord -2- of the glass.

–	Leave it to dry and react for at least 10 mins.
