Removing and installing ATF breather pipe

Detaching

l	Gearbox is removed.

–	Loosen the bolt -B-.

–	Pull ATF breather pipe -A- out of hole.

Note

If ATF emerges from the inspection hole located behind ATF breather pipe -A- slightly below bolt -B-, the gearbox is defective and must be renewed.

Installing

Install in reverse order, observing following:

–	Push in new ATF breather pipe -A- as far as stop.

–	Secure ATF breather pipe to gearbox housing with retainer and bolt -B-.
