Removal:

t  General repair instructions. → Chapter
–  Remove drive shaft (left-side) → Running gear, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive; Rep. gr.40.
–  Place used oil collection and extraction unit -SAT 1100- below gearbox.

–  Unscrew the conical bolt of the left hand articulated shaft; for this purpose screw in the two bolts into the flange and lock the shaft with a lever -according to the figure-.
–  Remove flanged shaft together with compression spring.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following must be taken into account:

Renew countersunk bolt securing flange shaft.
–  Insert the flanged shaft pushing against the spring and fix with a new bolt. Tightening torque → Chapter
–  Install drive shaft (left-side) → Running gear, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive; Rep. gr.40.
–  Gear oil level: checking and topping up → Chapter
