Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pressure element -3305-, see equivalent → Anchor
Operation process
  Note
t  Can be replaced with gearbox in vehicle.
t  Cleaning norms when working in the gearbox → Chapter.
t  General repair instructions. → Chapter
–  Remove flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.
–  Prise using a lever.

–  Insert the new flange shaft using the pressure piece -3305- until it engages at the end without it inclining to the side.
  N39-0769
–  Pack space between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- half full with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Install drive shaft (left-side) → Running gear, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive; Rep. gr.40.
–  Install flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.
–  Gear oil level: checking and topping up → Chapter
