Contact corrosion!
Contact corrosion!
Contact corrosion can occur if unsuitable connecting elements are used (bolts, nuts, washers), rivets, plugs, grommets, adhesives, etc.
For this reason, the manufacturer fits only joining elements with special surface linings, easily recognised by their green colour as well as rubber, plastic and non-conductive parts.
These parts, fully tested and compatible with aluminium, come also as spares.
Use only genuine spare parts!
Always fit new parts in cases of doubt about reusability.
Accessories must be approved by Seat!
Damage from contact corrosion is not covered under the warranty!
