Vapour pressure
Vapour pressure
In a closed container which is not completely full, the refrigerant volatilizes into vapour state on the surface. The amount that volatizes is transformed into liquid again due to the aggregation of vapour particles. This equilibrium develops under pressure and is often called vapour pressure. The vapour pressure is temperature-dependant → Chapter.
