Climatronic control unit -J255-
1 - Dash panel temperature sensor -G56-
2 - Display “AUTO” (automatic operation) or “ECON” (air conditioner compressor off)
3 - Blower speed display for front seats
4 - Ambient temperature display
5 - Display for windscreen defrosting
6 - Air recirculation display
7 - Air flow direction display
8 - Selected interior temperature for front seats display
9 - Celsius/Fahrenheit selection button
10 - Blower speed display for rear seats
11 - Selected interior temperature display for rear seats
12 - Button for automatic mode
13 - “Blower speed faster” button for front seats
14 - “Blower speed slower” button for front seats (this button also switches system off)
15 - Air recirculation button
16 - Windscreen defroster button
17 - Button for “air flow to footwell”
18 - Button for “air flow to upper body”
19 - “Colder” button for front seats
20 - “Warmer” button for front seats
21 - “Blower speed slower” button for rear seats
22 - “Blower speed faster” button for rear seats
23 - “Colder” button for rear seats
24 - “Warmer” button for rear seats
25 - “ECON” (compressor off) button

t  The automatic control of the system can be influenced with buttons 13 to 18, 21 and 22.
t  In ECON mode, the air conditioner compressor is switched off; heating and ventilation continue to be controlled electronically.
