Check the heating performance of the air conditioning
  Note
t  When the refrigerant circuit is not purged after filling, air may accumulate in the heat exchanger of the air conditioner that will lead to a reduction of the heating performance. Noises are also possible or the customer complains about different air temperatures originating from the vents on the driver and passenger sides.
t  Solution:
t  Carry out a long test run at high engine speeds (at least ten minutes with a minimum engine speed of 2500 rpm). Use low gears so that the vehicle does not have to be driven quickly.
t  If a client complains of low heating power at certain engine speeds, check the fitting of the heating heat exchanger in the cooling liquid circuit. If the liquid coolant tubes from the engine have been mixed up (feed and return), the liquid will flow in the wrong direction through the heat exchanger → Engine, mechanics; Rep. gr.19.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
