Removing
–  Should a relative demand be made of the clutch, first check the working of the clutch cable before removing → Chapter.
–  To remove and refit the clutch cable, and should it fail to have any fixing tape, the clutch cable readjustment device must be tensioned with tape as shown in the figure. This tape is supplied with new cables for tensioning the readjustment mechanism.
   
–  It is necessary to cut the eyelet -arrow- of the fixing tape.

–  Hook the eyelet of the fixing tape over the protective cover.
–  Press the clutch pedal as far as it will go 5 times at least.

–  Move the declutching lever 10 mm approximately in the opposite direction to activation -arrow-. The declutching lever must be able to move freely.
In this way the clutch cable readjustment device is tensioned.

–  Stick the ends of the fixing tape to the two bolts of the readjustment device with the help of a second mechanic.
–  Remove the clutch cable from the declutching lever.
–  Take out the rubber stop from the gearbox.

–  Remove the clutch cable from the pedal -arrow- → Chapter.

–  Extract the clutch cable from the supports -arrows- and withdraw
