Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Spanner -T20118-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Tray -T20173-, see equivalent
t  Socket, 17 mm
t  Hose (approx. 600 mm, outer diameter 10 mm) with normal funnel
t  Clean measuring container with 3.0 litre capacity

  WARNING
t  Check if the vehicle is equipped with Start-Stop system.
t  If this should be the case, observe the safety precautions for vehicles with start-stop system. → Chapter
  Note
The gear oil level can only be checked by draining the gear oil completely and then filling up again.
   
It is not possible to check the gear oil level by unscrewing the oil filler plug.

The angle of the engine/gearbox unit means the lower edge of the fill hole -arrow 1- is below the oil level -arrow 2-.
