When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following “5 rules” of cleanliness: |

| Thoroughly clean all unions and the adjacent areas before disconnecting |

| Place dismantled parts onto a clean surface and cover them. Use lint-free cloths! |

| If repairs cannot be completed in one session, all parts and components that are left open should be covered or stored with the greatest of care |

| Only install clean components: |
| Only unpack replacement parts immediately prior to installation. |
| Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in toolboxes, etc.). |
t
| When the system is open: |
| Do not work with compressed air if this can be avoided |
| Do not move vehicle unless absolutely necessary |
