  Note
t  Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats can be still used without a reduction in useful life, as long as the cracks are no more than 0.5 mm in width.
t  When installing an exchange cylinder head with fitted camshaft, you must oil the contact surfaces between the tappets and the cam surfaces before installing the cylinder head cover.
t  The cylinder heads for diesel engines may not be reworked.
t  Renew cylinder head bolts.
t  When fitting, replace the self-locking nuts and bolts.
t  Renew bolts which have a specified tightening angle, as well as seals and gaskets.
t  The plastic protectors fitted to protect the open valves should not be removed until the cylinder head is ready to be fitted.
t  When fitting a new cylinder head or cylinder head gasket, all the coolant must be drained again.
t  Carry out an engine oil change if this is dirty → Booklet 1.
