Exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450-: Removing and installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing
–  Detach the outer -1- and inner -2- engine covers, by pulling them evenly upwards.
  E01-10018
–  Disconnect the electrical connector -arrow- for temperature sender 1 of the exhaust gases -G450-.
–  Mark the hoses so as not to confuse them when installing again pressure sensor 1 for exhaust gas -G450-.
–  Open the hose clamps and lubricate both hose with a non-silicone based lubricant.
–  Carefully and in a straight line, separate the hoses from the connecting sleeves (the sleeves break easily).
–  Undo the nuts -1- and remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- together with the pressure pipes.
Installing
–  Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  Secure all hose connections with the correct hose clips (same as original equipment) → Parts catalogue.
t  Connect the hoses of the pressure sensor 1 of exhaust gases -G450-.
