Intake manifold flap: Assembly overview
The intake manifold plate closes about 3 seconds when the engine is stopped and then reopens. In this way a stopping jerk is avoided
   
1 - 10 Nm
2 - exhaust gas recirculation radiator
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
3 - O ring
q   Replace
4 - 10 Nm
5 - Exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with potentiometer for exhaust gas recirculation -G212-
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
6 - 22 Nm
7 - 10 Nm
8 - Intake manifold
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
9 - O ring
q   Replace
10 - Seal
q   Replace
11 - Intermediate hose
12 - O ring
q   Replace
13 - Intake manifold flap motor -V157-
14 - 10 Nm
15 - Seal
q   Replace
16 - 22 Nm
