Caution | Irreversible damage to high-pressure components, especially the high-pressure pump due to lack of lubrication though diesel can occur when filling fuel tank with incorrect fuel. Damage due to seizure and metal particles can be expected. These metal particles will probably cause further damage to pressure regulating valves and injectors. |

| When filling the tank with the wrong fuel, one differentiates between two cases: |

| 1. Case: You noticed your mistake BEFORE starting the engine and the engine has NOT been started → Chapter |

| 2. Case: You noticed the mistake AFTER starting the engine. Incorrect or impure fuel has entered the fuel system and has reached the high pressure components → Chapter |
