Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Counterhold tool -T20167-
Removing
  Note
Insert the changed tensioning element in stages. Consider the various work sequences.
–  Now, mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt.

–  Turn the tensioning element in the -direction of the arrow- until the drill hole is visible. Lock tensioner with retention tool -T20167-.
–  Remove the ribbed belt.
Installing
  Note
When fitting the Poly-V belt, make sure that it is correctly seated on the pulleys.

5 - Pulley/air-conditioning compressor
6 - Poly-V belt
7 - Crankshaft toothed belt wheel
Install in the reverse order to removal.
