  Note!
t  Always renew seals and gaskets.
t  The inside guard of the toothed belt must not be removed.
t  The toothed belt should be left in position on the crankshaft sprocket.
t  Cover toothed belt with a cloth to protect it from coolant before removing coolant pump.
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove ribbed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove upper and centre toothed belt guard → Chapter.
–  Take toothed belt off camshaft, injection pump and coolant pump sprockets → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew securing bolt -1- from idler wheel -2- and push idler wheel approx. 30 mm downwards.
–  Unscrew the bolts on the fastener -3- of the cooling liquid pump and carefully remove the cooling liquid pump -4- between the wind-screen washer tank and the rear protector of the toothed belt.
