Poly-V belt: removal and refitting
Poly-V belt: removal and refitting
Sequence of operations
–  Removing the right soundproofing pan: → Bodywork-assembly work; Rep. Gr.50
–  Mark the turning direction of the Poly-V belt.
   
–  Pivot the tensioner roller in the direction of the arrow by applying a flat annular e/c -16- spanner to the tensioner lever.
–  Remove the Poly-V belt or fit it.
  Note!
t  In vehicles without air conditioning, it is necessary to remove the Poly-V belt first from the alternator and, on fitting, fit it here last.
t  In vehicles with air conditioning, it is necessary to remove the Poly-V belt first from the return roller and, on fitting, fit it here last.
t  On fitting the Poly-V belt, it must be made sure that it seats correctly on the pulleys.
