Removing and installing sealing flange and flywheel > < Dismantling and assembling engine

–  Remove the Poly-V belt → Chapter.
–  Removing the toothed belt → Chapter.
   
–  Remove the toothed belt-crankshaft pinion. To do this, immobilise the toothed belt using the tool -T20018A-.
–  Removing the oil pan → Chapter.
–  Remove the bolts fixing the front sealing flange.
–  Remove the sealing flange. If necessary, release it by knocking lightly with a rubber mallet.
–  Eliminate all remains of sealant from the engine block by using a flat scraper.

–  Using a plastic rotating brush, eliminate the remains of sealant from the sealing flange (use protective goggles).
–  Clean the contact surfaces so that they are oil and grease free.
