Removing
–  Note the safety measures before beginning assembly work → Chapter.
–  First check whether the vehicle has a coded radio, and if so, check the anti-theft coding.
–  With the ignition off, separate the ground tape from the battery.
Commercial vehicles
–  Partially separate the front of the carpet of the lining of the loading area.
   
–  Remove the lower panels -1- of the dividing wall.
–  Remove the front linings -2-.
–  Remove the protection plates of the floor -3-.
–  Separate the reinforcing crossmember.
Kombi version vehicles
–  Rock the rear seat forwards.
–  Fold forward the rear seat.
Continue for all vehicles
–  Remove the cover of the fuel level transmitter.

–  Remove the flexible supply -1- (black) and return -2- (blue) pipes from the fuel level transmitter, and the terminal connector -3-.
–  Empty the fuel tank.

–  Remove the rear joining strap -1-.
–  Separate all fixtures of the rear of the exhaust system -2- from the bodywork, lower the exhaust system a little and fix it to the bodywork with wire.
–  Remove the rear right wheel.
–  Remove the bodywork loading mouth.
–  Remove the stopper from the loading mouth and separate the mouth from the drum.
–  Remove the fixing bolts of the fuel tank by supporting it with the -SAT 1001A- engine and gearbox hoist.
–  Remove the fuel tank together with the thermal protection plate. To do this, it is necessary to turn the tank 90° to make the loading mouth pass through the space between the damper and the spring.
