Valve stem seal replacing > < Valve gear

(With cylinder head installed)
–  Remove air filter → Fig..
–  Remove the toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove camshaft → Chapter.
–  Remove roller rocker fingers, together with support elements and place on a clean surface.
.
Ensure the roller rocker fingers and the support elements are not interchanged
–  Remove spark plugs with tool -T20028-.
–  Set piston of appropriate cylinder to “bottom dead centre”.
–  Screw hose -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
   
–  Fit compression tool -T20034B- to the cylinder head
–  Connect the hose of the -T20033- to a compressed air system of at least 6 bar of compressed air and remove valve springs.
  Note
Tight cotters can be loosened by tapping lightly on the lever.
–  Remove valve stem seals with extractor -T20058-.
