Remove

–	Remove the camshaft → Chapter.

–	Remove the hydraulic tappets (do not interchange them) and set them with the sliding surface pointing down.

–	Unscrew the spark plugs.

–	Set the piston from the appropriate cylinder in the “lower idling point”.

–	Use the assembly device -T20034-.

–	Screw pressure hose -T20033- into the plug threads.

–	Adjust the hose to a minimum air pressure of 6 bar.

–	Remove the valve springs with assembly device -T20034- and pressure tool -T20034- Ø35.

Note!

If necessary, lightly tap the assembly device with a hammer to remove jammed half cones.

–	Remove the valve stem seals with tool -T20058-.
