The oil level should not exceed the maximum mark; there is a danger of damaging the catalyst!

Check the oil pressure → Chapter.

Oil capacities

Without oil filter 3.0 l

With oil filter 3.4 l

Engine oil specifications

Use oils that comply with the VW 50000 or VW 50101 rule. Only in exceptional cases: multi-grade oils that comply with API-SF or SG rules.
