Dismantling and assembling engine > < Removing and installing crankshaft

Installing
Installing
–  Lightly oil sealing lip of oil seal.
–  Slide oil seal over guide sleeve -T20081B/4-.
   
–  Place guide sleeve -T20081/4- with seal onto crankshaft journal.
–  Use puller -T20081B/1- and press guide sleeve with seal in until the seal seats in it's correct position. Use the old bolt for the vibration damper for this.
–  Remove guide sleeve -T20081B/4-.

–  Install crankshaft toothed belt sprocket. To do this counter-hold sprocket with -T20018A-.
–  Tighten new central bolt. Tightening torque: 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
  Note!
Thread and shoulder must be free of oil and grease.
–  Fitting toothed belt and adjusting timing → Chapter
–  Installing ribbed belt and tensioning element → Chapter.
