Installing > < Removing and installing coolant pump

  Note!
t  Always renew seals and gaskets.
t  The toothed belt should be left in position on the crankshaft toothed belt sprocket
t  Cover toothed belt with a cloth to protect from coolant before removing the coolant pump.
–  Drain coolant → Chapter
–  Remove ribbed belt → Chapter
–  Remove upper and lower toothed belt guards
–  Take toothed belt off coolant pump toothed belt sprocket → Chapter.
   
–  Remove securing bolts -1- from rear of toothed belt bracket and from coolant pump to cylinder block.
–  Remove upper securing bolts -2- from rear of toothed belt bracket. The fuel rail hose must be moved to one side for this → Chapter.
–  Remove securing bolt -3- for tensioning roller and remove the tensioner.
–  Remove the toothed belt rear bracket and the coolant pump.
