| When carrying out work on the fuel supply and injection system, the following cleanliness rules must be observed: |

| Thoroughly clean all unions and adjacent areas before disconnecting. |

| Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface and cover them. Do not use fluffy cloths! |
| t
| Cover or carefully close any exposed parts if the repair is not to be made immediately. |
| t
| Fit only clean parts: Remove the spare parts from their packaging only immediately before fitting. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in tool boxes etc.). |
| t
| When the system is open: Do not use compressed air. As far as possible, do not move the vehicle. |
