Attaching engine to repair stand
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  counterhold -VW 540-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Lifting tackle -3033-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Workshop crane -VAS 6100-, see equivalent → Anchor

Requirements:
l  The gearbox must be removed from the engine
   
Operation process
–  Hook the support tool -3033- on the engine and on the workshop crane -VAS 6100-, as shown in the figure.
Flywheel end: Position 4.
Vibration damper end: Position 8.

–  Fasten the engine by using the securing tool -VW 540- on the engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
