Prerequisite
l
The exhaust system is cold.
Procedure
–
Loosen bolt connections of front clamp.
–
Adjust the position of the clamping support on the exhaust pipe when considering the dimensions

. Dimension

= 5 mm.
–
Align the position of the connecting support so that the threaded end does not protrude over the bottom edge of the support

Slightly tighten the screw connection in front of the connecting support.

Then align the exhaust system in the suspension elements when considering the dimension
-a-
. The

points forwards. Dimension
-a-
= 3 ... 7 mm.
–
Then evenly tighten securing nuts

of foremost clamp. Specified torque: M8 = 25 Nm, M10 = 40 Nm.
–
After tightening the connecting support, check the alignment dimension and adjust if necessary.
Align the end pipes:
–
Align the secondary silencer so that there is an equal distance
-a-
and
-b-
between the indentation passage in the rear bumper and the end pipes.
–
To centre the end tubes, loosen the secondary silencer suspension, if necessary.
