Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Central diagnosis -VAS 5051B- or central diagnosis -VAS 5052-, see equivalent → Anchor

–  Connect the central diagnosis -VAS 5051B- orcentral diagnosis -VAS 5052- with the relevant cable.
Select the function “Guided fault finding” on the diagnosis centre -VAS 5051B/5052- system.
Once all control units have been interrogated:
–  Press “Go to” key.
–  Select “Function/component selection”.
–  “Select drive ”.
–  Select “Engine code”.
–  Select “01 - Systems capable of self-diagnosis”.
–  Select “Engine management”.
–  Select “Functions”.
–  Select “Function or component”.
