Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Vehicles with no clamp between centre and rear silencer
l  The exhaust system must be aligned when it is cool.
–  Loosen the bolts of the front clamp → Item.
  W00-0427
–  Push rear section of exhaust system towards front of vehicle -arrow- until rear mounting for rear silencer is preloaded by -a- = 7 ... 11 mm.
–  Align rear silencer horizontally.
–  Tighten bolts on rear clamp → Item evenly to specified torque.
l  Tightening torque: M8 -23 Nm; M10 - 40 Nm
–  Align the tailpipe → Chapter.
Vehicles with clamp between centre and rear silencer
  Note
Additional alignment of the centre silencer is only required on vehicles with clamp between centre and rear silencer.
–  Loosen bolts on front clamps → Item and rear clamps → Item.

–  Push front section of exhaust system towards front of vehicle -arrow- until mountings for centre silencer are preloaded by -a- = 5 ... 9 mm.
–  Tighten bolts on front clamp → Item evenly to specified torque.
l  Tightening torque: M8 -23 Nm; M10 - 40 Nm
  A26-0101
–  Push rear section of exhaust system towards front of vehicle -arrow- until rear mountings for rear silencer are preloaded by -a- = 7 ... 11 mm.
–  Align rear silencer horizontally.
–  Tighten bolts on rear clamp → Item evenly to specified torque.
l  Tightening torque: M8 -23 Nm; M10 - 40 Nm
–  Align the tailpipe → Chapter.
