| When carrying out work on the fuel supply and injection system, the following cleanliness rules must be observed: |

| Thoroughly clean all joints and connections and the surrounding areas before dismantling. |

| Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Use only lint-free cloths. |
| t
| If repairs cannot be carried out immediately, carefully cover or seal open components. |
| t
| Only install clean components: do not remove replacement parts from packaging until just before installation. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in toolboxes etc.). |
| t
| When the system is open: Do not work with compressed air. Do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
