Compressor: removing and fitting > < Compressor

1 - Housing with soundproofing
q   For noise insulation
2 - Noise insulation
q   For intake air
3 - Suction line
q   Immobilise with spring clips
4 - 7 Nm
q   Self-tapping bolt.
q   Securing bolt must only be tightened with a nut runner if nut runner speed is max. 500 rpm and a max. tightening torque of 7 Nm is set.
5 - 7 Nm
6 - 7 Nm
q   Self-tapping bolt.
q   Securing bolt must only be tightened with a nut runner if nut runner speed is max. 500 rpm and a max. tightening torque of 7 Nm is set.
7 - O ring
q   replace
8 - Pressure pipe
9 - Noise insulation
10 - Housing
q   For noise insulation
11 - Noise insulation
q   For charge air.
q   With seal.
q   Renew seal between supercharger and noise insulation.
12 - Pulley
q   For supercharger.
13 - 8 Nm
14 - Coolant pump with magnetic clutch for supercharger -N421-
15 - Poly-V belt
q   For supercharger.
  Caution
When installing poly V-belt, observe direction of rotation and make sure it is properly seated on pulleys and tensioning element.
16 - 23 Nm
17 - Tensioning element
q   For supercharger poly V-belt.
q   Relieve tension using 16 mm open-end spanner -T10241-.
q   Lock with locking pin -T10060 A-.
18 - 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   To loosen and tighten securing bolt, counterhold supercharger shaft with spanner.
q   replace
19 - Compressor
q   removing and installing → Chapter
20 - 25 Nm
