| Hose connections are secured with spring-type clips. In cases of repair, only use spring-type clips. |

| To fit spring type clips use pliers -SAT 1105-. |

| When fitting, route coolant hoses without tension and not touching other components (note marking on coolant connection and hose). |
| Perform cooling system leakage check with the cooling tester -SAT 1274- and the adapter -VAG 1274/8- and adapter -VAG 1274/9- → Chapter |
