  WARNING
When opening the expansion tank, extremely hot vapour may be released; cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully.
  Note
t  When the engine is hot the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary, release pressure before beginning repair work.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct hose clips (original parts) → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue).
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340- or spring-type clip pliers -VAS 6499- are recommended for installation of spring-type hose clips.,
t  Replace seals and gaskets.
t  The arrow markings on the coolant pipes and on the ends of the hoses must be aligned with each other.
