Active carbon filter system - Components overview
1 - Vent pipe
q   From theSolenoid valve 1 for the active carbon filter (pulsed) -N80- (in the engine compartment)
q   Check that it is seated securely
2 - 10 Nm
3 - Throttle valve module -J338-
q   If the throttle valve control unit is replaced, the new control unit must be adapted to the engine control unit → Chapter; Functions and components: adapting.
q   In vehicles fitted with an automatic gearbox, it is also necessary to adapt the gearbox control unit → Chapter; Functions and components: adjusting
4 - Solenoid valve 1 for active carbon filter (pulsed) -N80-
q   In engine compartment, right
q   Valve closed with ignition switched off
q   When the engine is warm the valve will be activated from the engine control unit (pulsed)
5 - Connector
q   black, 2 pin
6 - Active carbon filter system
q   Location: in right rear wheel housing
q   Filled by the gravity valve → Item and the vent valve → Item
q   To remove:
Remove rear right wheel
Remove the rear right wheel housing protection
Remove pipes → Item and → Item
Remove bolt → Item and detach tank by bottom part
7 - Vent pipe with pressure retention valve
q   From the gravity valve → Item on the fuel tank
q   Check that it is seated securely
