Air filter housing: removing and installing
Air filter housing: removing and installing
Removing
   
–  Press on the inserts -arrows- and remove the inlet from the air intake duct
  N24-10322
–  Disconnect hose -1- from retention valve.
–  Pull the air filter upwards removing it from the bracket bolts -2-.
Fitting
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence. The following must be taken into account:
  Note
t  To fit both the upper element of the air filter housing to the lower element and the air intake duct, self-tapping bolts. If these screws are loosened or tightened using a power tool the threads in the lower or upper part of the air filter may be damaged.
t  For this reason a power tool can only be used when:
t  The power tool maximum speed is 200 rpm.
t  tightening torque is set to a maximum of 3 Nm.

–  Push the air filter upwards removing it from the bracket bolts -2-.
–  Connect the hose -1- to the retention valve.

–  Press the inlet against the air intake duct until the inserts clip into place -arrows- audibly.
